Prospective Healthcare Assistants

Integrated EM/Urgent care aims to bring the best of both Urgent Care and Emergency Medicine to the community level. Outstanding healthcare assistants will be needed to complete the patient experience.  This is to be a collegial atmosphere with everyone bringing their ‘A’ game each day.

Job duties would include appropriate patient care (i.e. dressings, obtain ECGs, etc) and appropriate notification of medical staff of sicker presentations. Healthcare assistants will be very important in the efficient processing of patients.  The main operational goals of Integrated EM/Urgent care (through the Integrated Healthcare Trust) are such to maintain optimal patient flow and management of the sicker patients as they get their initial treatment and appropriate disposition. Wait times should be minimised and patients should be expedited as soon as possible.
